I appreciate this perspective! I hadn’t thought about how even when well intentioned, the balance can be tipped if someone just has more practice expressing themselves. I’m definitely more assertive than I was even five years ago, let alone my early twenties.

For sure! I’d also say I approach obstacles and hardships with a lot more rationality than I did in years past
